The Day I Forgot My Business Cards… and It Turned Out to Be the Best Thing Ever

I don’t know how it happened. I had everything ready for the event: samples, a flyer, a cute sign with my logo, and a great attitude...
But my precious business cards? They were still sitting on my kitchen table.

“I wanted to disappear. How was I supposed to connect with people without something to hand out?”

It was an entrepreneur fair—the kind where everyone shows up with bags full of business cards, brochures, and product samples.
All I had was my smile… and my phone.

Then I remembered that, luckily, a few weeks earlier I had created my profile on MyLnker. Nothing fancy—just my logo, social media links, some product photos, and a contact button. Best part? I had saved a QR code in my gallery.

That saved me.

Every time someone asked for my info, I pulled out my phone and showed the code. Some people scanned it, others got the link via WhatsApp.
Within seconds, they had everything: my brand, my story, and how to place an order.

“They told me it looked super professional. And I was over here thinking I was just winging it.”

That day I realized something: I don’t need to carry a bunch of stuff if I have a good link.
Now, my MyLnker profile is the first thing I update before any event… and the one thing I never forget.

Moral of the story: It’s okay to forget your business cards… as long as you don’t forget your link 😉

If you run a business, you know unexpected things happen. But when your info is organized and ready to share, you can keep moving—and even stand out.

👉 Create your MyLnker. You never know when it might save you.
