If you're looking for a link-in-bio tool for your business, practice, or professional services — rather than a platform built primarily for creators looking to monetize their audience — this comparison can save you some time.
Most of the best-known link-in-bio platforms, including Linktree, Beacons, and Stan Store, are designed and marketed largely around the needs of content creators.
But if you're a salesperson, independent professional, consultant, or small business owner, your priorities are often different. Features such as WhatsApp, product catalogs, direct payment options, ease of use, and native-language support can matter much more than creator-focused monetization tools.

What We Found When We Looked at How These Platforms Actually Market Themselves
We didn't want this to be just another generic feature comparison.
So we reviewed the messaging competitors are actively using in Google Ads across eight markets:
- Argentina
- Brazil
- Canada
- Colombia
- Ecuador
- United States
- Mexico
- Costa Rica
The pattern was consistent.
Much of the advertising and positioning from platforms such as Linktree and Beacons is centered around content creators, with messaging focused on concepts such as monetizing an audience or providing an all-in-one platform for creators.
In our review, we did not find equivalent positioning specifically targeting local businesses, independent professionals, or salespeople.
At the same time, we found evidence that real businesses — including medical practices, veterinary clinics, law firms, auto shops, and beauty salons — are already using link-in-bio tools as their de facto website, particularly in markets such as Brazil and Mexico.
That reveals an interesting gap:
The demand for a simple digital page that brings a business's key information and customer touchpoints together clearly exists, even though many of the largest platforms were not built specifically around this audience.
The Real Strengths of Each Platform
There is no single platform that is best for everyone.
Each one has clear advantages depending on what you're trying to accomplish.
Linktree
Linktree has one of the largest user bases in the market and arguably the strongest brand recognition in the link-in-bio category.
It remains a solid choice if your top priority is simplicity and you don't mind using a platform whose overall experience is primarily geared toward creators.
Beacons
Beacons offers a broad ecosystem of creator monetization tools, including online selling, email marketing, media kits, and brand partnership features.
It's particularly strong for creators who already monetize an audience or sell digital products.
Stan Store
Stan Store provides a polished experience for coaches, educators, consultants, and digital product sellers, especially when the main goal is turning an audience into customers through a streamlined checkout experience.
Linkpop
Linkpop makes the most sense if you're already part of the Shopify ecosystem and want to extend your existing store into a link-in-bio experience.
Whop
Whop is a strong option for businesses built around online communities, memberships, subscriptions, and digital products.
MyLnker
MyLnker is designed around a different need: helping businesses, sales professionals, and independent professionals bring the information and tools their customers need into one simple destination.
That can include:
- Social media profiles
- Contact information
- Product catalogs
- Products and services
- Business location
- Forms
- Important links
- Content
- Customer contact and payment options
Why This Matters If You're a Business — Not a Creator
None of these platforms is inherently bad.
They were simply built with different types of users in mind.
The challenge comes when you try to adapt a platform designed primarily for creators to the day-to-day needs of a traditional business or independent professional.
For many businesses, the customer journey looks more like this:
- A potential customer discovers your business.
- They review your products or services.
- They check your location or contact information.
- They message you on WhatsApp.
- You continue the conversation and close the sale directly.
If that's how your business operates, you may need something different from a platform focused primarily on audience monetization, memberships, or digital products.
The best link-in-bio tool isn't necessarily the one with the longest feature list.
It's the one that fits the way your business actually works.
